Sometimes when I am lonely
I like to think of all the things I am made of,
All the molecules in my body which used to be:
Star dust, pollen, dynosaur scales, the water of Roman baths;
Also, all the people who came before me -
Now earth and clay,
Becoming plants and animals,
flowing into rivers and oceans,
and schools of silver mackerel.

This is an interesting one. It was made when my friend and I were discussing how smile affects people and I like to imagine that this conversations, this samiling narrative is infused into the clay of the bowl.
